Green Card for Parents - need advise

Hi,

My sister is US citizen and she resides in Florida. I am currently in NY and my parents are with me on visit visa.

My question is that if my sister is going to apply for green card for my parents, my questions in this regard

1- Should my parents be staying with my sister (in FLorida) until the process is complete
2- Can they stay with me while my sister apply for their greeen card and for interview they fly to Florida and give the intervie.
In this please note that my mother's vist duration as per visa is until October while my father can stay till Jan. So will she be allowed to fly within US?

3- Can my sister come to NY and apply for their green card? and is the waiting time for Green Card in NY is more than that in Florida?
