My husband was brought to the US at the age of 2 illegally by his parents and he has been here since then and has never left. His parents have went through all of the course and now are resident aliens of the US but they never filed the paper work for him.
I am a US born American Citizen, we have been together since we were 14 years old and have been married for 6 years. We have 3 children ages 8 ½ years , 5 years and 18 months. We finally have some of the money available to get work on getting him legal here but have no idea how to do so. He has never committed any crimes of any sort (other than being here after the age of 18 illegally).
We really don’t have the funds to hire an attorney as they are very costly and I am the only one working due to his status, Any help or advice you have is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
