I am on H1B , here I read some info I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a brother or sister July 17, 2010 . processing time at vermont so my file (new petition I-130) already applied by my brother in DECember 2009, is it correct info that I got soon GC (Family Based) adjustment H1B to Family based GC?
please share some info with me that how many days will be take to adjust non-immigration status to Familybased GC?

Sibling petitions (F4 category) take approx 10 or more years (depending on your country) to be issued a GC.

its take over 10years? but my brother told me they applied in december 2009 , now vermont center working on July 2010 cases so, he told me that your adjustment of status will be on the way!! is it true?
because I am on H1B and I am inside the USA, so I don't want to wait for visa stamping. who are outside USA and need visa for them it will take too long time that is over 10years! I don't know what to do and who is right at this stage?

I am Indian citizen working in the USA on H1B since last 5years.

Guide needed by good hands on user who knows this systems.

mtouch informed you correctly--the F4 will take considerable time. Your brother may have told you about approval--but you will not be able to do AOS until the cutoff-date is later than your priority date (which will take 10+ years)

You have to check this website http://www.immihelp.com/visa-bulletin/ every 2nd week of the month. Only those who have PDs less than the date shown for your category (F4) will be issued a visa.

Hello mtouch, I see ur message as your brother is uscitizena nd he applied for ur greencard..correct ? If so...can you please reply me..I am uscitizen..I would like to sponsor my sister for green card who is in US on H1 visa...what is the first step. Sorry for the trouble. Thanks so much again.

Bhanu, my mom was the one who petitioned me but I've been reading about US immigration so I have some knowledge regarding immigration issues. Anyway you need to file form I-130 for your sister. Read the instructions here: https://www.immihelp.com/family-based-greencard/
