Birth Certificate one letter missing

my birth certificate and my real last name including my parents and grandparents is **** *t*.

While the Indian officials made my passport, they misspelled my last name as **** *tt* (double tt). Since then all my document in US has double tt

Now, since then their is discrepancy between BC and passport.

I want to know if it be a problem for EAD an GC filling. I am filling under marriage with citizen.
