• How long would it take to renew an Indian passport from US Embassy DC (holder is here, and will be returning to Chennai 10/04)?
• Also, what happens to the US visa (photo-sticker); will this be transferred to the new passport?

Specifically, the passport expiry date is 2012/08/04 and the visa expiry date is 2018/09/10.
