Hi,
My mom's GC application (I-485) has received an RFE. Essentially she was born in Bangladesh and moved to India when she was 4 years old. Like most people in the past, she was delievered at home - so no birth registration/proof. Additionally, Bangladesh at that time didn't have any such process established. USCIS has asked for Governmental proof.
a) I reached out to Bangladesh consulate and they will issue a letter stating that during that time, there was no process to relase birth certificate.
b) Additionally, I called USCIS and the lady also told me that I should explain the partition, that she migrated.
c) I have already submitted an affidavit of her elder brother stating that she was born at home...blah blah.
Any thoughts/experience/ideas would be appreciated.
