My U.S citizen father filed an I-130 for me and currently in the process of patiently waiting.....however during the processing time I have met and beem dating my boyfriend who is currently gc holder but will soon apply for naturalization(citizenship) in couple mnths (no biggie). We plan to get married in the near future, so my question is ......would my father have to modify my current petition to F3 I believe or would he have to withdraw the current petition and me and my soon to be fiance/husband apply for K1/CR1?

what is the proper steps to take for the change in my situation... goin from over 21 unmarried to over 21 married.

What is your priority date (date when your father filed your petition) ?

You don't need to cancel your father's petition. You cannot convert it to another type of petition. When your BF becomes a citizen he can either file a K1 (fiance) petition for you then marry you when you reach the US, or he can marry you first then file a CR1 petition.

Yes, as many as petitioners are willing.

one more question...once im married would my petition that my father applied for be invalid once I get married or is it based off of my single status at the time of the filing date?

No effect on the petition even if you marry bec your petitioner is already a US citizen.
