  • Filing for husband after package is returned

Hi, Long story please stay with me I will try to make it as short as possible.

Hired a guy to help me with paper work he said he sent it but 5 months later I didn't get anything.

I took it as a lost. Yesterday I received the package which has been traveling back and forth from the mail to wrong address. There is a notice of rejection because the amounts on the checks are wrong.

Does anyone know what are the amounts I am suppose to write on the checks? I am filing i130, i485, i765 and i864. Is this the only reason they sent it back? My other question is why did it come back without the co sponsors support documents does the uscis keep that? I want to refile but I don't have the money is there a time frame before they kick our case out of the system?

Try calling USCIS (or the office where you filed the documents) and ask them these questions. You'll get more accurate answers this way.

That is why sometimes I advise people on this forum to consult an expert lawyer, at least for the first step for the process of immigration. This will avoid one some troubles like this. It is ok; it is never too late. Take this advise if you would like, please: consult a lawyer and get some help on what to do, how much that is cost. etc etc...Just spending between 50 bucks to 100 won't kill anyone in USA to get his papers straight. Consulting an expert, ask all the questions and come home and send the right package!
Consulting a lawyer does not mean hiring one! I did this through my immigration process and it paid!! Never pay more than 50 bucks to get clear answers if I am not sure!
      Good luck to you!
