  • Question about changing from Consular Processing to Adjustment of Status.

I petitioned my mother by sending a I-130 through Consular Processing on Aug 22, 2011. I'm still waiting for a decision notice. My mom is in Spain, and has a valid tourist visa. If she comes to visit US and the I-130 is approve, can she continue the procedure from within US? what are the steps? would she need to notify the national visa center of change of address or she would just submit the I-485 to USCIS office?

    Thanks for your help.

If she is in US, you will need to file an I-485 to adjust status.
