i am a US citizen.
i applied I-130 for my spouse.
i 797 c (notice of action) received on sept 20,2011.
no further evidence requested.
after approx. 4 months , case is not approved yet.
is this still in time frame ?
if not , what should i do.

First I would call and then setup an infopass appointment. (see uscis website)

I assume you did a concurrent I-130 and I-485? Did you get the FP notice?
