Repeated 221 (g)s

I am a US citizen got married in April 2011. My wife and step daughter had immigrant visa interview on 01/13 in Mumbai. They were issued 221(g) to provide Joint Sponsor's original sigend I864 and his wife's I864A. On furnishing it, the consulate then asked for 2010 IRS tax return copy of the joint sponsor. That too has ben submitted. However, we are very much disturbed and distresssed as this delay is causing our life planning derailed. I do not know why is this delay happening as I had submitted all documents to NVC which was approved & then the case was forwarded to the consulate.

I remairried after getting divorce from my first wife and my current wife also got divorced from her first husband before our marriage.

I have been informed by some of my friends that this may take a longer time (3-6 months). If this happens, my step daughter's carrier gets totally disturbed because she already missed the admission process at the university in US. She cleared her H.S. graduation in India and also ready with her SAT scoreall transcripts etc. She has already taken one year break as we thought she will come to US by Jan-2012 and straight start her further study.

Can some one please guide me as to what do I do next so that we can get united and live a peaceful normal life? It's very hard on me as well as my family psychologically as well as financially.

All you can do is wait to hear from them.

You can't change the processing times because it is not convenient for her education.

May be a good idea to get admitted into the Indian college and later see if any credits can be transferred.

Thank you immihelp. We got a surprize. My wife and daughter received their passports stamped with visas and relavent documents through courier.
