Hello everyone,
We've been in a long distance relationship since a very long time and finally decided to marry.
>The girl I'm going to marry is 5 years older than me and divorced from a previous marriage.
>We're meeting for the first time in person
>Affidavit of Support requirements for I-130 will be fulfilled by a joint sponsor.
>I'm presently working here in India and financially sound.
>I've a clean background and no medical history.
As per what we have planned, I'll be applying under the Special Marriage Act and as per the procedure confirmed from a lawyer, I need to send the documents to her back in US for her to sign and send them back to me, so I can file the application for marriage to Registrar. One month notice period starts from there onwards and when it ends, we'll get married in court and have a religious ceremony afterwards. The girl will already be here 14 days before the marriage date. So, I wanna know if everything sounds good and complete, and there's not going to be any hitch at the time of I-130 interview. Also, if she has to file this petition in India itself, how long does she have to stay here, or is it better if she leaves to US with all the documents and file it there? These are the proofs of relationship we will be providing>
1) Emails dating as back as 2009 so that's close to 3 years.
2) Receipts of gifts that I sent to her
3) Skype Logs
4) Photographs of us on outing and stuff before and after the marriage.
5) Bills for Hotel Stay stating both our names
6) Marriage Certificate
7) Her Photographs with my family
8) Photographs of the religious ceremony
Experts please let me know if I'm good or if something I'm missing, we really need to stay together..
I need good Wishes from you all
Thanx in advance
