Hello All,
I am waiting for my I-130 approval for more than 6 months. It seems i am getting closer now.
I am trying to arrange all papers in advance so that we do not wait any longer and can get started with life asap.
My first passport was issued in 2002 which was going to expire in June 2012. So i renewed by passport in Nov 2011 ( 2 months back ). Now as i wait for my I-130 approval to come in coming weeks, i will need to submit police clearance certificate.
Where all do i go for police clearance certificate ? I have stayed in Varanasi between 2000-2004, in Noida & Delhi between 2004-2011 and now live in Uttarakhand for last 8-9 months.
Somewhere i read that "if your passport is issued within last 6 months, you go to the passport office that issued your passport". Does that apply to me ?
