hello,
My wife and i have filed for an adjustment of status on our own and where approved. about two months ago. we never received her green card in the mail. after filling an inquiry with the USCIS we received a letter stating that the usps delivered it to our address and a that at this point they considered it lost. we were advised to file an i -90 to request a duplicate.
my question is
is this the only solution? we barely made the fees for all the applications which came out to about 1500 if not more and now they want us to file again for something that wasn't our fault.
has anyone had this issue? what do you recommend.
