Help needed! Petitioning my parents visa.

Hi. I am 21 years old American Citizen living abroad where there is no USCIS office so I wanted complete information on filing I-130 for my parents. Some of my questions are:

1. Petitions for my mom and dad can be filed together or separately?
2. What documents are needed to be attached at the time of filing the petition for my mother and father?

Financial support for the immigrating relatives!

Thank you. I also wanted to ask that for supporting the beneficiary how much money do the petitioner has to have in his account?
And if the petitioner is not able to support financially the beneficiary then the beneficiary can self support himself? If yes, then how he can do it?
