Dear Immihelp
Unfortunately my parent was tested positive in the TB test. This is consular processing. The authorized hospital wanted to do the DOT at their hospital. It was impossible to make arrangements for my parent to stay at that location (which is 400+ Kms from the native place) for 6 months (and go daily to the hospital) for DOT therapy. Hence we did not opt for DOT, but instead the treatment is started with consultation from local physician.
My parent received a letter that "You are ineligible to obtain IV.. You will remain ineligible till you obtain DOT therapy". I don't mind they saying you are ineligible till you test negative for TB.
This letter concerns me.
I am hoping that once my parent completes the 6 months medication, we should be able to submit clear medical reports for the IV to go through..
Please tell me that this is possible..
