Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration.

My mom sponsor me and I had an approve I130 with a Priority date of June 22 2006.
I enter the US under a B1/B2 visa and then my status was adjusted to F1. I currently living in the US out of status. We receive a letter NVC to file for Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien
Registration. Do I need to file this or can I just apply for an AOS since I am living here?

Apply for AOS. What is your category (F1, F2A, F2B, F3) ? When did your receive letter from NVC ?

I receive the letter on 4/16 and it is dated April 13, 2012.
My status is F1.

That's the question. Maybe his PD will soon be current.
@Rizik pls call NVC and ask if you can file AOS and if your PD will soon be current.
We're interested to know if PDs will be moving faster than before.

Pay attention, he is out of status. That makes a whole lot of difference.............
