Hi,
My wife's interview got over for CR-1 few days back and Consulate asking I-864 from a new JOINT SPONSOR. I sponsored my mother's GC in 2007 and currently paying a child support in US.Due to the child support and my mother's sponsorship consulate asking me to provide I-864 and I-864A from a NEW JOINT SPONSOR even though i am making above the federal poverty guideline.Please provide suggestions of who i can ask for joint sponsorship.
1. Can i request family friend or friend's living in US to provide that document?
2. Can i utilize value of my mother's assets in india to provide that document since mom is not working in US?
Please elaborate your response that can help me better understand the query received from consulate,
