Affdavit of support 1864

Dear Sir,

This is with reference to the above mentioned subject, i would like to know few details on the same. My queries is regarding the Affidavit of support form completion process for immigrant visa family based. My peitioner is my mother. at present her source of income is nil. The amout she is receiving is nominal amout from my father Social security benefit. However the major income source is coming from father. My question is , this case is it necessary for her to fill
form 1 1864A also along 1864 or not. Your valueable view in this matter is highly appreciated.

I assume that your mother and father live together and file joint taxes.

In that case, you mother need to file BOTH I-864 and I-864A . Remember without I-864A, your mother can not include your father's income on I-864.
