I-130 Approved. Dad wants to visit USA on existing B1/B2. Will there be any problem?

Hi,

I am processing GC for my father. His I-130 is approved. My initial plan was to go with Consular Processing. It is taking too long. Instead I want to file his I-485 once he comes here. He has his valid visitor VISA. Can he enter USA on his visitor VISA? Will there be any problem at port of entry?

Is this a better route or should I stay with Consular processing?

If he is coming to visit the USA with the preconceived intention of filing I-485, that is not allowed. If he decides to "change his mind" later, that is fine.
