Hi! I just want to know how long should i wait till we are granted medical and interview after we send our documents along with ds-230? MY HUSBAND JUST SENT IT THIS MORNING AND OUR PRIOrity date is 2002? yor replies will be highly appreciated to enlighten us

Who is being petitioned? Son/daughter of LPR? If you're in F2A the PD being processed now is Feb 15, 2010. How come your PD is May 23, 2002 and you're only starting to process your papers ?

Me and my 4 kids are being petitioned by my husband under f2a category! Ya, I know our pd is way long ago but it's a decision me and my husband made that we will continue the process if kids are bigger already!

OMG! I think that if you did not pursue your application when they gave you instructions to do so will result in your application having expired. Your husband should file new petition. Is he already a US citizen ?

No, until now he is still an LPR..this petition is already renewed!last April! We already send the Iv packets along the necessary docs..how long do you think we will be granted medical and interview since our pd is already very current and we already have availbale visa number! Your response will be greatly appreciated!

What do you mean by "renewed" ? Did your husband file a petition again this April 2012 ?

Since he filed for our petition he didnt pay&pass any papers up until april he pursue where he left!

I think you should contact NVC and ask if you can still pursue your 2002 petition because at this point I think this petition has already expired. You might be wasting time & money on this old petition.

Thanks for your respose..but i'm just wondering, will nvc let us pay all fees and let us pass all necessary documents if it's already expired? Our agent said that he re opens our case that's why nvc let us continue

It's better to call NVC directly and not rely entirely on your agent. There are many unscrupulous "agents" around who will just get your money and give you the run-around later.
