Hi, I am currently working in a medically underserved area on H1-B (J1-waiver). My husband got his I-485 approved after we got married. I am planning to apply for 'follow-to-join' for GC, while staying in US. When should I apply? How long does it take to get it approved? When can I obtain an EAD at least?

I'd appreciate any help.
