Conditional greencard holder wants to go to another city to look for a job

H! everyone,

I got my conditional greencard through marriage to U.S. Citizen last October 2011. I have a hard time getting a job from the city (in California) where we live at, can I go to another city (in california too) to try my luck there and go back to the place where we live at every weekend to see each other? Does this situation affect my removal of condition (I-751)? Or will the immigration officer become suspicious about the validity of our marriage?
