I am new here
Looking to see what kind of info I can get...if any. My husband is a USC who just swore his oath at the beginning of July. We are trying to get the process going for his parents and his sisters (both under 21). They all came here on visitor visas back in 1999 but have overstayed and are now here illegally. I know we can get his parents taken care of, but what about his sisters? USCIS told me he could apply for them, but it would be a 10 year wait. They told me, instead, to have his parents file for their daughters once they have their green cards. Can this even be done? I thought only USC could apply for residency for illegals? Does that only apply if the children are over 21 and/ or married? I'm a bit confused.
If anyone has an insight, I would greatly appreciate it
