green card application while on valid h1b - EAD

I got married few months ago, i renewed my h1b recently and got approved, me and my husband are planning to file my green card (he is a US citizen) next month, we got the forms but we dont know which forms he has to fill up as the petitioner and I as the beneficiary, we dont want to hire a lawyer bec they charge thousands of dollars.

Im wonderin if I need to file for employment authorization since I already got the H1b, will I be able to work when I get the green card and my h1b expires?

I have a child back home (another country), should I include him in the green card petition or not yet (he is 11 yrs old.)
