Hi everyone,
My wife (an American citizen) is currently a student, therefore she does not have the financial means of being the only sponsor, therefore, her father will be the joint sponsor. I read on the I-864 instructions that I, (the beneficiary), can be of help to my wife (the petitioner). However, my source of income is my own father as of the moment. I know the joint sponsor must be an American citizen, but would this be an exception, since I myself will be helping out my wife, even though my income is coming from my own father, who is NOT an American citizen? Thank you for any help!
