Form I-485 Questions
Hi everyone,
Here is my situation:
I entered into USA in the beginning of this past August 2012, in a F-1 student visa. My I-20 expired on mid August. I got married to my fiancee afterwards, so we are starting to file paperwork for my green card. I currently cannot work since I do not have legal work authorization, I did not apply for OPT since I got married to my fiancee. So, here are my questions:
1. On form I-485, under Part 3 (A) for "Current occupation", what do you think I should put? None? Student? N/A? I feel as if the US government will take any answer that I put on these extremely seriously, so therefore I do not want to make a silly mistake and ruin everything.
2. For Part 3 (C), when we must name organizations, would school clubs that I participated throughout college would count?
