Proving Domicile

Hi everyone,

Some of you may be experienced in the area of proving domicile on the I-864, affidavit of support. I'm looking for some advice as to whether or not we proved our case well enough.

My wife is a born and raised USC but currently lives with me in Canada. We are planning on moving to the US as soon as I get my green cars.

Prior to living with me she was living with her parents at their home in the US. We showed domicile in the following ways:
Valid US passport;
Valid SSN;
Valid state drivers license updated as early as March 2012 and indicating her home address;
Picture of her car that she drives in Canada with US plates;
Copy of her US insurance policy for her car;
Copy of her US bank account;
Copy of our US joint bank account showing US address;
And lastly we sent a signed letter from her father stating she always have lived at their house and that we are both welcome to live there after I immigrate and while we look for our own house.

I think this is plenty sufficient but I can't say for sure.

Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated.

I forgot to mention her tax returns. We sent her federal tax returns she filed in recent years.

What about job in the US ? Do you or your wife already have a job offer in the US ?

No neither of us have job offers as my wife is currently halfway into her pregnancy and will be home for the next while as we both prefer her home for the pregnancy and for the first few months of the child.

As for me, I plan on joining the military when I get my green card and have been in touch with recruiters who can not begin the process without a green card.

I have however had my education credentials translated to the US system and printed out some email correspondence with military recruiters showing my intent to join.
