Wife moving back to her original state for work. Need help

Hi all,

We got Married this summer on June. Now she is going back to Arizona for her work. I cannot go with her because of the Arizona strict law, I entered US with F-1 visa but just recently my opt expired so I am out of status.

I live in San Francisco bay area, will this situation of us living in different state be a problem for my application?
Due to my current status problem we will be living separately but as soon as I am able to go to Arizona. We will be together.

Your wife should immediately file a petition for you so you can legalize your status. What are you waiting for ?

We are filing as soon as everything is ready. Was just wondering if the different address would make the process slow.

There will be questions asked about the separate living arrangements so both of you should have the same explanation.

At the moment she is livin with me, but within a week she moving back to Arizona. So on the forms should we write the same adress or her Arizona adress on hers?

It depends what address is being asked. Is it the petitioner's address or beneficiary address ?
