Hi,
I am a US citizen and just married my husband who is not. We are now starting the process of filing everything so he can get his green card. Right now, he has a J1 Visa which expires at the end of this year. Some questions I have:
-For the Affidavit of Support, do I need to submit copies of my tax return or transcripts or BOTH?
-Also, we do not currently live together on paper. My lease agreement isn't up until next year so I had to find a replacement. We will be living together as of October 11th. However, my name could not be on the lease due to my bad credit. We did get a letter from the leasing office stating that. Is that something I could submit with my application to explain why we are both NOT on the lease?
-Also, I plan on submitting all of our documents by October 8th. We don't move until October 11th. Should I put our new address on all the forms, or use my current one?
