I applied for I-140 and I-485 concurrently , PD June 2007.
My I-140 was approved in August 2007.
I switched my employer to new employer in February 2010. I was also on H1B, and got my H1B transferred. AC21 filed.
Then i re-switched my employer in June 2010, H1B transferred, no AC21 filed.
Lastly, i reswitched my employer to another company in June 2011, H1B tranferred, AC21 filed.
On 6/13/2013 i got an email notice that my I-140 case was "updated". Online, the case status says that post decision activity has resulted in previous decision on my I140 being "revoked". I waited for 14 days to get a written notice , waiting for the explanation of decision, did not receive anything. Called USCIS, and they say that i cannot be given any information as petitioner on my behalf , the company which originally filed GC, should call.
I have tried contacting the old company and the old lawyer many times, but there has been no response.
My current lawyer says that there is nothing we can do - we have to wait and watch if this affects my I-485.
My questions :
1. Is there a legal way for me to find why my I140 was revoked ?
2. Will this affect my current EAD and AP ? My wife's EAD/AP ? Her I485 was filed on the basis of marriage as we got married after my I140 approval.
3. Will this affect my I-485 ? And if yes, how much time does this usually take ?
Thanks in advance.
