I-140 approved & want to change job
Hi All,
Currently i have my I-140 approved under EB-3 category with my current employer with the priority date of May 20,2012. I had got a 3 year extension based on I-140 approval which is valid until 10 Feb 2016.
I have got a good offer from a different company and i am tempted to join them. However i am not sure of the following questions and would like help from you all:
1. I am getting a manager position in the new company, so can they retain my priority date and yet file it under EB-2?
2. If i indeed join the new company, what is the latest date i need to have my PERM application filed so that i am able to stay in US beyond 10 Feb 2016?
3. Assuming my PERM is not filed by the above date mentioned in point 2, what is the latest date i need to have my I-140 approved so that i am able to stay in US beyond 10 Feb 2016?
Please help me with the above questions. Thank you all in advance.
