Need info on I 140 process and EAD

Hi,

I am on H4. My Husband has got his labor approved and his employer is initiating i-140 now. I have the below questions:

1. How long it takes to get i-140 approval?

2. Can i apply for EAD along with i-140? If not possible , then within how many days i should apply for EAD after i-140 approval , is there any time limitation?

3. Is my physical presence needed in USA while applying for EAD or while the i-140/EAD are in process?(i have india travel plan)

Please do respond inline.. I am planning to travel to india in october and come back in feb. Our labor approved date is 8/19/2015.

[Ans]: 3 months in normal processing, 2 weeks for premium processing.
2. Can i apply for EAD along with i-140? If not possible , then within how many days i should apply for EAD after i-140 approval , is there any time limitation?
[Ans]: No, you can apply as soon as I-140 is approved.
3. Is my physical presence needed in USA while applying for EAD or while the i-140/EAD are in process?(i have india travel plan)
Yes, you need to be in US along with a valid I-94 to apply for EAD.

Please let me know if there is any time restriction that within these many days i should apply for EAD after my husband's I-140 is approved?

Because they are applying for I-140 for him mostly in next month. But i am going to india next month and will be back only after 5 months.
