I-140 In Process , Impact on Changing from H1B to L1A(Blanket)
Appreciate your advice on my unique situation as below:
1. After completion of 6th and pending Labor had to come out from the USA
2. Eventually Labor for EB2 got approved, applied I-140 for premium processing
3. Got extension of H1B for the 7th Year extension and has not stamped as currently outside of the USA
4. Completed 1 Year outside of the USA as a Manager and thinking to go for L1-A instead of H1B 7th yr extension stamp. So that I could change from EB2 to EB1 category due to the time taking for EB2.
Are there any issues changing from H1B --> L1A with the above situation ?
Are there any impact on the current I-140 due to the change ?
In case of L1A rejection , can I able to stamp the 7th year of H1B extension ?
Any advise ?
