changing title->Software Engineer Quality to Software engineer and PERM application
Hi all,
I am moving from one team to another within same company and as a result of that, my manager is changing and my title is changing from 'Software engineer, Quality' to 'Software engineer'. My job duties will NOT change significantly. I work on java application automation and java application testing in current role and will be working on java application development in new role. I will still be using similar technologies, similar domain and similar skills. Can I keep my current PERM application in this case(I have I-140 approved)? I checked with my lawyers and they said I am fine as long as job duties wont change significantly, But I am looking for a second opinion to be completely sure.
