Dear all,
I just finished 6 years on H1 B and with the approved I-140 my current employer 'A' obtained 3 years H1 B extension. Meanwhile, I have received a another job offer (which I am considering) from employer 'B' and the B is also willing to file PERM, I-140 etc after 6 months from joining. I am assuming that employer A will revoke I-140 once I resign.
My question is, does it take same time (about 1 year) for employer B to file the PERM and I-140 and get it approved? Or because I have already approved PERM/ I-140 from employer A the employer B can get the PERM/ I-140 approved faster? Approximately how long it will take approval process for B?
I am also a part time MBA student and I will graduate in April 2017. At that time I may get a management or consulting job at employer 'C' and I would like to have B's I-140 ready before April 2017.
If new PERM/I-140 takes same time as before, I think, I would be better-off not accepting this intermediate job with employer B.
Please help.
