on I-140 status, however employer closing business
Hi,
My current VISA status is H1 B and Green Card processing status is I-140. I'm a full time employee to my Employer. Recently my employer filed BANKRUPTCY and it's in the court. For last one year, they are not paying us on time, some time a week or 15 days or a month late.
Question: If my employer closes their Business, then what happens to my I-140 and H1 B ??
Is my H1 B and I-140 going to expire/cancel immediately?
After they close Business, is there any chance to transfer my H1 to a new employer? If so, what about my I-140 ?
