Hello,
I am in my fourth year of my H1B and my PERM was filed last week, assuming that gets approved in 3 months and my 1-140 is approved in another month under PP processing I am looking at Dec 2016 when I will have both approvals. I do now that this is an ideal scenario but for assumption purpose let go with this timeline.
Now if am I let go in Jan 2017 I will have roughly 15 months left on my current H1B. With the I-140 approval will I be eligible for 3 year extensions? Or in more broader terms will the I-140 approval help me in any way with the new prospective employer?
