I 140 approved EB1 process for job changes

Currently on an O1 visa but have had the I140 aproved as EB1, the other forms are still in processing but havent been filled as of yet.
My O1 will expire next year. I have been looking at changing jobs but unsure as to how it will affect my current status.
Would cancelling petition and filling for new O1 be the best course of action? I havebnt found any information as to this situation pertaining to the O1 visa.
