Promoted after I140 Approval - RePERM and I40 required?

Hi All- I have my I140 approved six months back. I go promoted recently and I have 5-7 reportees under me. When I asked attorney, he/she mentioned that I need to process PERM and I140 again retaining the old priority date.

Just wanted to hear feedback on how it went for the folks who were in similar situation.
