I was recently laid off by my employer and have about 60days to find a new position. My employer had processed my i140 and i have an approved i140 with my current employer. My question is - when i change jobs and move to a different employer, can i use the previous i140 receipt number to apply for H4 ead ? How does being laid off affect this? Thanks !
