    if H1b expired, waiting for i 140 approval

    Hello,

    My h1b is expiring in 16 months. If my company files green card now what happens if I dont get i 140 approval in next 16 months.

    I have to leave country and come back once i 140 is approved? Or there are any other options. Thanks
