Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding my situation on I-140 and applying for spouse's EAD based on my H1-B based I-140.
My firm's policy is such that they only sponsor the PERM application, and each applicant is responsible themselves for the expenses of I-140. If I switch firms after my I-140 is approved, what are the chances that my current company will release my I-140? Is there anything I can do to ensure, they don't revoke? Additionally, do I need to have a copy of my approved I-140 to keep my priority date after I move to the new firm?
Can I apply for my spouse's EAD on my approved I-140 from the prior company after I switch jobs on H1B, and prior to the new company starting my green card process?
