Self filing I140 and petition from abroad. Do u need to send to a specific center?
Hi everyone,
I am self petitioning and filing under EB1-A status. I was previously based in LA on an O-1 visa, but it is now expired and I'm sending my file, with request for premium processing, from my home country, so there is no adjustment of status.
I have completed my letter and supporting documents, but I am not sure what service centre I should send sending my I-140 and and supporting petition and evidence to.
I understand the USCIS site mentions it is specific to place of work, but as I'm filing from outside the US, and this category does not require a specific job, does that mean I can send the application to any service center?
If this is correct, what service center do you recommend? Does Texas have a higher approval rate? If I have the choice, is there a better option? Any advice would be really appreciated.
