Employer change with I-140 approved

Hello -

I am planning to change my employer after my I-140 is approved. I am currently filed under EB3 category. If my new employer is willing to file my application under EB2, will I be able to use the priority date from the previous application even though the category is different?

Any advice on this regard would be appreciated.
