I-40 Question

The business I work for has 501(c) status however does not make a profit and never will. They do not have the capacity to pay for my services and I have worked for free for two years. I will be performing services for them when I immigrate to the USA. They are not a religious organisation, can they still sponsor me? Any ideas?
