Can I apply for multiple i140s ?

I got an i140 approved through previous employer and applied 485 based on it, while I was with new employer. Now the new employer wants me to apply for i140, will the new i140 process create any issue with the already approved one.

I didn't tell the current employer that I applied for i485 through my previous employer.

You can apply multiple i 140 but you can apply only one i 485. If you want to apply new one you have to withdraw the old one.
