My Labor has been approved for California and my 1-140 is pending. I have temporarily moved to the Texas location of my company. My company Lawyer indicated that I should not move my job location, so I kept my official address at California but kept working in Texas. I own a house in California and rent in Texas
Would it be an issue if I get surrender California drivers license and Texas Drivers License? I don’t intend to file a change of address with INS or inform my lawyer about my move. Will getting a Texas drivers License mean declaring residency for Texas and create an issue for my GC?
