I-140 work experience

Hello,

I am currently preparing to file my I-140 application in EB-2 category. My EB-2 requires 6 months of work experience.I was working as a teaching assistance (for 1.5 years) and research assistance for (1 year) on part time basis at the University in USA while finishing my master's degree. I would like to know if the TA and RA exepreince can be counted towards 6 months of work experience for I-140. Please advice.

It all depends on if that exp is useful for your job. Your lawyer and employer will be able to evaluate it better.
