My I 765 has been approved and have received EAD card. Does that enable me to start a business/ act as a consultant/ work another job? Note my I-140 is still pending approval.

Could you please share with us when your EAD was filed? mine was filed 4 mothns ago and still nothing. My i-140 is also pending for 16 months and i-485 for 8 months -

Yes one can take up another job,so long as you continue to work your 40hrs/week on your regular job.
